As part of the iDesign Change Project's Zoo York edition, students worked in collaboration with Sweat Equity Enterprises to learn about design. Here is Khing Kwon's poster design for "Unbreakable City," which was done through YouMedia. "I design clothes (graphics), animate, illustrate, and skateboard. I currently attend Illinois Institute of Art, and I'm majoring in Media Arts and Animation."

Check out Carter G. Woodson seventh-grader Jeramy's documentary done for a Digital Storytelling project. Jeramy chose to explore the Av-8B Harrier because he loves airplanes. "I felt that if I do a project like this, my knowledge of the Harrier would expand." Jeramy said he learned a lot from taking on the Harrier project, like how to work iDVD and how to do proper research. "I also had a better understanding of iMovie and a better understanding of the Harrier."

Aysha is a sixth-grader at Carter G. Woodson, and she wanted to make a special greeting card for a friend from their own photos. Her design work, from color choice to photo selection, makes it that much more professional, personal and powerful.
