Tené Gray is the Director of Professional Development for the Digital Youth Network (DYN). She designs and delivers high-quality professional development and coaching for mentor teachers that supports the implementation of a new media literacy curriculum inclusive of goals/outcomes, projects, and assessments.

Her employment experience and training include teaching middle school students in the Chicago Public School system, working as a literacy coach supporting middle school teachers in the implementation of Balanced Literacy, working as a program director for GEARUP (Gaining Early Awareness in Undergraduate Programs), and working as a network coach supporting charter school leaders and teacher leaders in the development and implementation of instructional leadership teams. Tene' Gray holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology with a concentration on Electronics from Illinois State University, a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Governors State University. She is also a doctoral candidate in the School of Education at DePaul University. Her research focuses on the development of artists as teachers through professional learning communities.
